August/2022 Brawl Stars Balancing – Buffs and Nerfs

A new round of Stelle della rissa Balance changes is coming to the game! And as you followed this weekend, all the news of this new update was revealed, such as two new brawlers, skins, a new game mode, several changes, and a glimpse into the future of Brawl! But among this news, one was not revealed, and you will check it out here on the site firsthand; we will have balance changes in 11 brawlers!

Balance Changes

There will be 6 changes of improvements and 5 reductions in the effectiveness of brawlers. See below for all the details!

Brawlers that will have improved effectiveness (BUFFS)

Buzz

  • Base health increased: from 4200 to 4400

Our favorite lifeguard had some issues protecting his own life, so we gave him a little more base health to allow him to stay in the ring longer.

Poco

  • Main attack damage increased: from 700 to 800

Poco is not a Brawler who has been fighting for some time. While his healing is decent, he needs to be a little more menacing to be able to fight other Brawlers.

Nita

  • Main attack damage increased: from 880 to 960
  • Super loading will be faster: from 6 to 5 hits

Nita and Bruce have been out of the spotlight for a long time. Playing Nita without Bruce isn’t very good, so we’re improving it a bit and making it easier to summon Bruce.

Lola

  • The Healing of the “Student” Attachment increased: from 350 to 1,000

The “Protective Pose” Accessory is a little too powerful as a shield for Lola and her team. While it should be strong, it costs a lot to defeat and allows for much pressure. Tuning the “Protective Pose” accessory and the “Double” accessory should allow a better choice between her accessories.

Jacky

  • Main attack damage increased from 1160 to 1240

Jacky is having difficulty defeating other brawlers, even closing their distance. This change should make her deadlier when she hits her target.

Meg

  • Super loading will be faster: from 8 to 7 hits.

Meg’s previous Nerfs caused her in-game usage rate to plummet. Reversing half of the previous should allow her to be more balanced and make her a solid choice.

Brawlers that will have reduced effectiveness (NERFS)

Penny

  • Decreased base health: from 3800 to 3600

Penny is doing great even after her previous changes. While she’s not too oppressive, she’s a little too six-pack for the pressure she can exert, so we’re tweaking her durability a bit.

Carl

  • Decreased base health: from 4,400 to 4,000

Carl, like Penny, has been having a lot of fun lately. His main projectile is now highly deadly, so he becomes more of a sniper, which is a dangerous design. Lowering his health means it’s easier to duel him from a distance and close the gap (but watch out for the Super!)

Crow

  • Slow duration of the “Slow Toxin” accessory: from 5 sec to 3 sec

No details revealed

Bonnie

  • Decreased base health: from 5,200 to 4,800

Bonnie (specifically Clyde) is a little too tanky in sniper form, so we’re tweaking her health to ensure that closing her distance allows brawlers to take her out more efficiently.

Janet

  • Decreased base health: from 3600 to 3400
  • Super loading will take longer: from 5 to 6 hits

Janet has been a huge nuisance, and while her super isn’t very effective offensively, it allows her to play aggressively and get out of any situation. Increasing the amount of time she can play like this allows for more counterplay, along with an HP nerf that allows her to be easier to blow up.

Bug Fix

  • Fixed crashes and freezes in Star League.
  • Fixed in-game speech when unlocking Otis.
  • Fixed some minor translation issues.

And in addition to following the video’s premiere on the official channel, don’t miss the content here on the site, revealing all the news of the update!
